Lauren Braithwaite, Managing Editor
Lauren Braithwaite is currently a junior, majoring in Political Science with a minor in Digital Media and Journalism. At John Jay, Braithwaite is a member of the Political Science honor society, Pi Sigma Alpha, and has worked on a political campaign. She attends weekly Times Talk meetings with Professor Greg Donaldson.
Lauren is a Just Media Fellow for Spring 2023, working as a reporter on criminal justice related issues.
In her time as Managing Editor, she hopes to encourage students to speak up without fear or doubt.

The world is like an ocean in which we are all small fish hoping to claim the rank of a whale. Some may succeed and others won’t come close, but humility in our efforts is paramount. If one person remembers and is pleased by something we did, then we have accomplished everything.
